We take you to our neighborhood restaurant, Khao Mun Gai (ข้าวมันไก่). Its only a short 5 steps walk from our store. Their iconic dish is the perfect grain fragrant rice, tender chicken with ultra thin and super easy to remove skin, their crispy fried chicken and their bold 3-4-5 different kind of dipping sauce and also all you can eat slice ginger & chilli. Khao Man Gai is a Hainese-inspired Thai dish that is a beloved all-day staple in Thailand, enjoyed for breakfast, lunch or dinner. It is simply; comforting and timeless true thai favorite. (My mother used to say, If you are feeling sick, eat Khao Mun Gai, and you will recover quickly). As for our outfit, we both decided to wear a blazer from Maison Hellard, our current favorite linen brand from France. Their selection of checks and plains is suitable for transitional wear – from spring to summer. The fabric’s 330-360g weight ensures maximum comfort throughout the day. What we wore, by coincident, we both wore western style shirt. But we chose to combine them in different ways.
K’Man (our creative director) executed his look by wearing his all time favorite Turquoise snap western denim together with his classic LEVIS 517 Bruce cut. As for his shoes, he chose vintage V tip Exotic leather Turtle Dress Shoes. Combining with his “MUST HAVE” Salvador dail soft watch green dial and Navajo native sterling silver. As for his Blazer, he chose to combine with our “Of the Moment” Prince of wales sanforised linen blazer. The present blend of brown and linen makes this blazer unique and easy to match with any kind of outift.I wore our in-house RTW CUTTING gun club linen blazer over our limited edition corduroy western shirt with bespoke fine wool houndstooth trouser and a pair of loafer I got from my trip to Italy long time ago by Doucal, and yes I wore hidden sock as I would like my total look to remain understated. One thing I don’t want to miss out is to present our Black Corduroy shirt, its unique western style allow wearer to style as normal shirt or as an OVERSHIRT. This shirt is breathable and is semi-stretchable to allow maximum movement and comfort in wearing during summer weather of Bangkok.
Now comes to the construction of our blazer. As part of our RTW collection, all of our linen blazers are half lined, fully canvassed, has Milanese buttonholes, total body hand stitching, double vent and a Barchetta chest pocket. A truly timeless Neapolitan style blazer. We decided to have fun with what we dress and as we all know, the most enjoyable part of fashion and style is to break rules. For us, fashion is more about expressing who you are and what style you identify with. So it doesn’t need to be perfect to be inspiring.
